January 8: University High School students spent the morning at the Santa Cruz River with the Living River of Words Program, mixing art and science.
January 17: Danny Lopez Park hosted the first Day of Connection for the Santa Cruz River Watershed. Community members enthusiastically helped clean up and beautify the park.
January 22: Students from Ha:san Preparatory and Leadership School spent the morning at Tumacácori National Historical Park learning about the parks cultural and natural significance. Students visited various parts of the park, including the Santa Cruz River.
